2023 Year End Recap and Audited Financials
We are so grateful for God's faithfulness and grace this year. This was a year full of ministry and activity where we saw God working and moving in people's lives locally and globally. The partnership of our body at Coast Hills both personally and financially makes all that we do possible. We seek to trust and follow the Lord in the stewardship of His resources. Below are a few stories of how God is working through the lives of a handful of the individuals at Coast Hills. These stories are just a few examples of the many lives being transformed as people pursue real and right relationship with God and others. Let them inspire and encourage you as we prayerfully move forward, seeking God’s blessing to be upon us and flowing through us.
Vittorio’s Story
This past year has been both challenging and rewarding. The teachings at Coast Hills and my Tuesday morning Men’s group have deepened my relationship with God and given me greater understanding of His Word. While I’ve struggled with my brokenness at times, I’m reminded of God’s love and purpose for my life. Anchored by Romans 12:1-2 and Ephesians 6, I’m finding strength and perseverance in my faith. I’m deeply grateful for the support and encouragement of the Coast Hills family.
Ryan's Story
Over the past year, the Lord has been by my side through some of the hardest times, using those challenges to deepen my relationship with Him. He took me from a life of sin and death to one filled with His love and light. Even in moments of anxiety and falling short, God’s faithfulness has never wavered—He’s always picked me back up. A pivotal part of this journey has been the relationships I’ve built through UNITED the College and Career Ministry, the Men’s retreat, and connecting with the church body. These communities have supported, encouraged, and challenged me to grow in my faith. They’ve reminded me of God’s love and purpose in every season. I’m deeply grateful for the way God has used these relationships to guide, teach, and strengthen me.
Chelena’s Story
My journey at Coast Hills Church has been deeply transformative. I was drawn to the church through my daughter’s prayers and Pastor Jason’s teachings, which helped me move beyond my Catholic upbringing and embrace a personal relationship with Jesus. Through His guidance and the support of the church community, I began to grow in my faith. Joining the Women’s Life Bible Study allowed me to overcome my insecurities and deepen my understanding of Scripture. Coast Hills isn’t just a building—it’s a place filled with love, grace, and connection. Every Sunday, when I’m embraced by the church family, I feel like I’m transported to a little piece of heaven on earth.
Austin's Story
This past summer’s mission trip to Colombia was life-changing for me. For years, I struggled to understand my identity and purpose, but during that trip, God revealed who I truly am. He worked powerfully through the faith of the local people and the men I served alongside, showing me the depth of His love and grace. Seeing their unwavering trust in Him, even with so little, inspired me to embrace my identity in Christ. Now, I’m walking with a renewed sense of purpose, grounded in who He created me to be.
Anne’s Story
After 23 years of sobriety, the 20/20 outreach support group has been a transformative part of my recovery journey. Attending meetings via Zoom from Boise, Idaho, I’ve found a new family in this group that encourages me and helps me grow. Unlike traditional AA meetings, 20/20 provides a space to connect with others who trust Jesus as their ultimate hope and Higher Power. Through this group, my sobriety has grown even stronger, and I’ve experienced how completely God loves us and delivers us from the chains that bind us. It’s been a powerful testimony of His grace in my life.
